Responsibilities of the Route Sales Rep:

• Operation of Odwalla Refrigerated Route Vehicle and delivery of product
• Perform all work associated with delivery of products and servicing customers
o replenishing retail account inventory
o collecting payment
o developing excellent customer relationships in order to build customer loyalty
• Operate route delivery vehicle responsibly in order to meet route and safety requirements
• Reconcile daily paperwork
• Maintain accurate inventory of all Odwalla products
• Attend sales meetings and monthly safety meetings
• Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years related experience which includes: operating a delivery truck, retail merchandising and customer service
• Proven track record of being able to work with little supervision, solving problems and meeting deadlines
• Excellent communication skills
• Able to complete required paperwork and develop proficiency with a handheld computer
• Able to respond to customer needs, concerns, or questions
• Must have a clean DMV record and a valid driver’s license
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and push up to 125 lbs

This exciting opportunity is for those who are energetic and love to travel! Maple Lodge Farms is looking for a Class AZ driver to drive their new and exciting one of a kind Special Events tractor and trailer on a cross-Canada promotions tour! This team will do local events in Ontario for the month of June – then for the month of July head out West on a 5 week tour returning to Ontario for more local events for the remainder of the summer season. There will be some part-time work during the fall and winter months.

Promote and showcase a variety of Maple Lodge Farms chicken products at various community, grocery and trade events via a unique Special Events vehicle. Along with a diverse team of individuals you will interact with our valued customers with confidence and an energetic attitude promoting the multiple benefits and specifics of Maple Lodge Farms’ products.

Position Details

 Responsible for all aspects of the tractor and trailer including driving, set up, updating logbook and general maintenance

 Promotion of Maple Lodge Farms products

 Food safety practices (training will be provided on safe food handling)

 Preparation of various menu items (training will be provided on specific food preparation and presentation)

 Duration: May 2010 – September 2010 with the possibility of part time hours during the winter season

 Minimum 40 hours per week during peak season (May long weekend – September)

 Uniform provided

Qualifications – Eligible candidates will possess the following:

 Energetic, mature and professional persona

 Ability to adapt within a diverse team of individuals

 Confidence and capability of interacting with the public in order to thoroughly promote company products

 Available weekends and the willingness to travel overnight (expenses paid)

 Valid Ontario AZ license with a clean driving record
