Seasonal Winter Drilling opportunities in Alberta for Class AZ and DZ Drivers!

Our Alberta locations are currently looking for Equipment Operators / Drivers to join our team for temporary winter drilling projects. This role is a physically intensive position that will require you drive and operate equipment in winter elements.

Working Environment:
• Long hours in a physically demanding role;

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure safety is the first priority and that all tasks are completed in a safe manner;
• Operate vacuum and/or water trucks on customer sites;
• Perform pre and post trip inspections and appropriate documentation;
• Preventative maintenance and minor repairs.

Requirements:
• Class A or D license with air brakes;
• Winter driving and chaining experience;
• Labour experience in rigging, industrial or environmental services is an asset;
• Vacuum and/or water truck experience is preferred;
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to perform basic repairs.

As per Clean Harbors policies, successful candidates will be required to pass a driver’s evaluation and a drug and alcohol test as a condition of continued employment.

Maple Lodge Farms is looking for a Class AZ driver to drive their new and exciting one of a kind Special Events tractor and trailer on a cross-Canada promotions tour! This team will do local events in Ontario for the month of June – then for the month of July head out West on a 5 week tour returning to Ontario for more local events for the remainder of the summer season. There will be some part-time work during the fall and winter months.

Promote and showcase a variety of Maple Lodge Farms chicken products at various community, grocery and trade events via a unique Special Events vehicle. Along with a diverse team of individuals you will interact with our valued customers with confidence and an energetic attitude promoting the multiple benefits and specifics of Maple Lodge Farms’ products.

Position Details

 Responsible for all aspects of the tractor and trailer including driving, set up, updating logbook and general maintenance

 Promotion of Maple Lodge Farms products

 Food safety practices (training will be provided on safe food handling)

 Preparation of various menu items (training will be provided on specific food preparation and presentation)

 Duration: May 2010 – September 2010 with the possibility of part time hours during the winter season

 Minimum 40 hours per week during peak season (May long weekend – September)

 Uniform provided

Qualifications – Eligible candidates will possess the following:

 Energetic, mature and professional persona

 Ability to adapt within a diverse team of individuals

 Confidence and capability of interacting with the public in order to thoroughly promote company products

 Available weekends and the willingness to travel overnight (expenses paid)

 Valid Ontario AZ license with a clean driving record
