We have an immediate opening in our Mississauga location. As Delivery Driver you are responsible for making deliveries to our customers maintaining the highest level of service possible.

Responsibilities.
• Make deliveries to local residential maintaining a superior level of customer service.
• Contacting customers prior to deliveries.
• Picking and sorting of material for jobs in the warehouse.
• Keeping the Warehouse organized
• Pick up orders from suppliers.
• Maintain company vehicle to company safety standards
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks
• Advise Dispatch Supervisor of any requirements for maintenance and repairs
• Other duties may be assigned as required

Qualifications
• Valid Ontario driver’s license – DZ class
• Must have strong navigational skills & excellent knowledge of local streets and highway system for the GTA area
• Physically able to frequently lift product weighing 20 -70 lbs
• Excellent English communication skills both verbally and written
• Basic Computer Skills ( Excel/Word)
• Ability to react to frequent schedule/routing changes
• Forklift certified with experience an asset

Your service schedule is provided one week in advance. You are driving company truck from your home back to your home. Receive extra compensation for any On-Call duties. Factory training is provided on the products.

Responsibilities

Complete equipment Preventative Maintenance, Installations and calibrations on heavy products
Complete system configuration and testing prior during installation and calibrations
Comply with ISO & Measurement Canada standards when required by the customer
Need to be able to travel away from home base for up to 4 nights per week and work overtime as required
Act as a technical solutions consultant and provide application support to both customers and the sales force
Provide PC and network troubleshooting support
Complete joint sales calls with direct sales personnel
Promote and sell service products and agreements

Requirements

Minimum of a 2 year college diploma in either Engineering/Electronics/Instrumentation Technology and/or Computer Science College or a University degree or equivalent work related experience
Experience in technical troubleshooting, installation and support in the industrial electronics marketplace
A DZ class driver’s license
Ability to read and execute based on work instructions and blueprint
Strong reading, verbal and written communication skills are essential
Experience in a PC environment along with extensive use of MS Office
Must meet physical demands of lifting, transporting and placing test weights and equipment of up to 20kg
